Job Title: Home Care Coordinator
Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm.
Salary/Rates: £18,000 per annum + enhancements.
Role: Provide management support and be responsible for rostering a team of Community Support Workers within designated areas.
Qualifications: Previous experience and knowledge of Home Care is essential. Minimum entry level: NVQ level 3.
As the largest independent home care provider in the region - we are recruiting a Home Care Coordinator to join our existing team of Home Care Coordinators based in our Head Office in Consett.
Duties & Experience:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our management team, previous experience and knowledge of Home Care is ESSENTIAL as the successful applicant will be required to communicate with commissioning staff and external agencies, minimum entry level NVQ LEVEL 3. The post holder will be required to plan care schedules and rotas for multiple teams of Home Care Support Workers working various shift patterns. You will be responsible for the rostering in excess of 1000hrs of Domiciliary Home Care per week. At times you may be required to provide home care support as emergency cover which will be paid as an enhancement to your salary:-

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.
You will also be required to provide telephone back up to our out of hours emergency support team on a rota system.
We operate emergency telephone support between 5:00pm and 8:30am and you will be required to participate in this rota system remotely.
